Gwangju City announced on the 9th that it has achieved $8.52 million in exports and $100,000 in export contracts through market development activities in two European regions, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Zagreb, Croatia, with six local SMEs participating from the 1st to the 8th.
E-Soltec, which manufactures Living Leisure House, decided to develop convergence products in collaboration with Fonteyn, Netherlands, in design and technology, and through this, discussed entry into the common market in Europe.
It also decided to present specific additional data such as prices, export conditions, and approval conditions by the 10th, and to discuss specific cooperation measures when visiting Korea in the future.
Fine Co., Ltd., which produces specialized vehicles, discussed the export of 30 ambulances with PK Trucks in the Netherlands. In addition, the Korean Embassy in Croatia purchased two ambulances, which are specialized products of Fine, using KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) funds and supplied them to Bosnia. The export contract amount for the ambulance (which was converted into an ambulance produced by Hyundai Motor Company Turkey) is $100,000 for 2 units.

Pan Chemical Co., Ltd., which produces complex PP engineering plastics, signed an MOU of USD 8 million with STRAZA PLASTIKA Co., Ltd. in response to the small demand of various varieties in the Croatian market, and decided to pursue an export contract after visiting Gwangju in May.
A city official said, "We will thoroughly manage the Netherlands and Croatia, including business support, so that they can become new export strategic markets so that they can lead to practical exports.".
