The Energy Exhibition, Korea's largest exhibition and experience hall in the energy field, has come to an end.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced that the "2018 Korea Energy Exhibition", the largest exhibition and experience hall in Korea in the energy field, will be held at KINTEX in Ilsan from the 2nd to the 5th.
The 2018 Korea Energy Exhibition marks the 38th anniversary this year, and 303 companies, the largest ever, participated. This year, it will be held under the theme of "clean and safe energy, energy that is used efficiently, and energy innovation in Korea." A total of 15 exhibition halls will be set up, and 46 seminars, forums, educational events, and 15 public participation experience programs will be held.
The New and Renewable Energy Hall, which includes Hanwha Q Cells, Hyundai Heavy Industries Green Energy, Doosan Fuel Cells, and Global Wind Energy, will display various new and renewable energy source products and technologies such as solar power, energy storage systems (ESS), fuel cells, and wind power. The "Renewable Energy 3020 Special Hall" is designed to provide a glimpse of the direction and achievements of energy conversion.
We plan to invite more than 100 overseas buyers (buyers) from 20 countries to sign business consultations and export contracts to support small and medium-sized companies in overseas markets.
A total of 12 companies, including Hanwha Q Cells' new solar module and E-Soltch mobile passive house, will announce new products during the event.
The 'energy job fair' will be held from the 3rd to the 4th. 15 representative energy companies and public energy institutions will participate in the recruitment consultation. The number of people who will be announced for employment is about 400 this year. It also provides consulting services related to hiring professional consultants.
A start-up program has also been prepared. A solar power start-up training program will be held for those who dream of the solar power generation business on the afternoon of the 2nd, and a talk concert 'Start-up Story' will be held on the afternoon of the 4th, which will feature the experiences of energy start-ups and prospects for the era of the 4th industrial revolution.
The 'Energy Together Concert' will be held on the afternoon of the 3rd. There will be a variety of fun programs such as virtual reality (VR), performance, origami of 'Shall I Make a Penguin Character That Symbolizes Global Warming' with Kim Young-man, energy bingo game that solves common sense quizzes and receives gifts, and energy golden bell.
Electronics and telecommunications companies such as Samsung, LG, KT, and SKC have set up smart energy halls consisting of information and communication technology (ICT) products, high-efficiency insulation, and energy management system (EMS) solutions. A public energy hall will also be held, involving six power generation companies, including East-West Power, and the Korea District Heating Corporation.
The shift in the global energy paradigm is a trend of the times and it is time for innovation in the energy industry, Vice Minister Chung Seung-il said in his opening speech. "We will promote the optimization of the entire energy mix that can encompass the entire energy source, away from the power mix in terms of supply, while inducing innovation in the energy consumption structure in each sector, including industries, buildings, and transportation."
