A mobile COVID-19 screening clinic has been developed with medical staff, complete separation of negative and positive pressure from the space of suspected patients, and cooling and heating devices. It can prepare for prolonged COVID-19 and heat waves.

E-Soltec (CEO Song Jong-woon), an energy-saving house developer, announced on the 17th that it has developed a 'Full Automated Screening Clinic (ASCC)' with negative and positive pressure systems and cooling and heating facilities that completely separate medical staff and suspected patient spaces and block droplets and airflow.

This product is a contactless medical facility that separates a negative pressure room that collects samples to prevent secondary infection between medical staff and patients and a positive pressure room, which is a waiting and resting space for medical staff. The suspected patient space is designed to allow negative pressure and positive pressure to flow into the medical staff space so that air does not mix. Temperature measurement is automatically performed, and waiting patients are controlled through access lamps and speakers, and contactless is realized with an automatic door system.

The sound pressure room is a two-stage facility that performs 7 to 10 times the sound pressure to prevent the virus from leaking out. The air circuit breaker is a positive pressure device that blocks the risk of infection of medical staff. A low-noise centrifugal fan (Sirocco fan) and 99.97 percent of excellent virus protection filter are also installed, so medical staff do not have to wear protective clothing in the medical staff zone.

In addition, a mutual communication system is in place that enables electronic signatures and responses through non-contact or non-face-to-face between medical staff and suspected patients. It also automatically cleans the entire test room, specimen transfer devices and medical equipment. It is possible to transport specimen or test ampoule collected through double safety glass with excellent airtightness and special equipment that can completely prevent air flow back.

In particular, cooling and heating systems are installed in summer and winter. Air or droplets do not leak through the air conditioner or heater. It is possible to prevent accidents such as exhaustion of medical staff caused by heat at the COVID-19 screening clinic. It can be quickly moved and installed in areas where a large number of COVID-19 patients occur.

E-Soltec has set up a screening clinic in Gwangju's Gwangsan district to demonstrate the product's performance. It is also proposing to detach and use various optional devices such as portable X-ray devices and artificial intelligence (AI) face recognition systems in addition to basic facilities.

CEO Song Jong-woon said, "As the COVID-19 crisis is prolonged, the health rights of medical staff and essential personnel at screening clinics are threatened," adding, "We hope that it will contribute to solving the health problems of medical staff and preparing for the prolonged COVID-19.".
