[Cheonan = Newsis] Reporter Lee Jong-ik = Cheonan Hospital (Hospital Director Lee Moon-soo) affiliated with Soonchunhyang University in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, announced on the 29th that it was selected for the 'Infectious Disease Quarantine Technology Development Project' supported by the pan-ministerial cycle medical device research and development project group.

The technology to be developed is 'smart sound pressure system-based mobile module screening clinic quarantine technology'.
Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital, Haewoo Technology Co., Ltd. and E-Soltec will develop together for two years.

When developed, a mobile module screening clinic with an automated sound pressure system is expected to greatly contribute to preventing the spread of infection by increasing the speed and fluidity of COVID-19 tests.

Professor Yoo Sang-dong said, "As COVID-19 is prolonged, the development of a more systematic sound pressure system and sample management system is required," adding, "Suncheonhyang University Cheonan Hospital is in charge of discovering and evaluating various evaluation indicators for stability, effectiveness, and suitability during the development process.".
