Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (Director Ahn Ki-seok) held a briefing session on corporate support projects with Gwangju University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Leading University (LINC+) project group, including Chonnam University, Chosun University, and Honam University, Gwangju Techno Park, Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency, and Gwangju Green Car Promotion Agency at the international conference hall on the 12th floor on the 23rd.

The event was hosted by the Ministry of Education, Gwangju Metropolitan City, and the Korea Research Foundation to strengthen the competitiveness of local companies through the promotion of new family companies and corporate support projects of Gwangju University LINC+ Project Group. The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology was organized in collaboration with related organizations such as the Korea Federation of Gwangju and Jeonnam Regional Association, Chonnam National University, Chosun University, and Honam University LINC+ Project Group.

At the briefing session, following the sharing of corporate support projects by Gwangju Techno Park, Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency, Gwangju Green Car Promotion Agency, and Gwangju Science and Technology Promotion Agency, the introduction of corporate support programs for Gwangju University LINC+ project groups and the presentation of cases of E-Soltec and BA Energy beneficiaries were held. In line with the COVID-19 situation, it can be broadcast live on YouTube and re-viewed using the Korea Science and Technology Association and YouTube channels of each university.

The Agency was recently selected as the best institution in the country in the project evaluation of the Ministry of Science and ICT. In order to promote regional science and technology, it is actively promoting exchange and cooperation projects through active cooperation with universities and related organizations, such as holding seminars and forums related to science and technology with the LINC+ project group and related organizations in Gwangju.

Director Ahn Ki-seok said, "At this event, the LINC+ project group of universities in Gwangju and major institutions that are carrying out business support projects in the region gathered to introduce support projects and discuss them extensively to strengthen corporate capabilities and enhance competitiveness," adding, "We will continue to actively cooperate with local universities and related organizations to help more companies in the region grow.".
