The evaluation received applications from domestic and overseas institutions and organizations, including the central government, local governments, the Office of Education, and private companies, until January 28.

Upon the recommendation of the judges, external experts, and citizens of the evaluation team, the final awarding organization was selected after strict screening by experts from all walks of life abroad and Korea.

Accordingly, in the field of local governments, Daegu Metropolitan City was selected as a global exemplary quarantine policy created on the site.

Daegu Metropolitan City suffered considerable difficulties during the first crisis of COVID-19 due to Shincheonji members, but since then, it has set an international example in global quarantine, including driving through and stopping the spread of the COVID-19 mutant virus by operating a public-private partnership system.

In the field of global Korean companies and overseas organizations, 12 companies and organizations from 9 countries around the world were selected, including TFNJ LLC in the global K-quarantine export field through high-tech mask commercialization, the New York Korean Business Association, the World Okta Chinese Chairman's Council, and Happy Food in Japan.

Meanwhile, the "COVID-19 Crisis Management Global Evaluation Team" was co-hosted by the Korean Association of Local Autonomy, consisting of more than 3,000 professors, last year.

This year, it was jointly organized by the World Korean Trade Association, which has 30,000 global CEOs, the World Korean Journalists Association consisting of 300 representatives of overseas Korean media companies from more than 50 countries, and the Corona Crisis Management Global Business Group affiliated with the Korea Peninsula Peace and Economic Research Institute with a 25-year history.

The 2022 COVID-19 Crisis Management Global Evaluation Team will announce a list of additional secondary winners through strict self-examination by internal evaluation teams and external recommendation agencies for lawmakers and education innovation in various digital fields to overcome the COVID crisis in front-line schools due to the urgent need for legislation at the National Assembly level due to the spread of the variant coronavirus.
