In the Land Transport Technology Competition, you can not only experience urban air traffic (UAM) and level 4 autonomous vehicles, but also meet future technologies such as quadruped walking robots and railway luggage transfer autonomous driving robots that will serve as safety guards at construction sites. The four-legged walking robot dog introduced by the Smart Construction Project Group is used for remote collection and automation of construction site data. If a robot dog is put into an unfinished construction site (temporary structure) with many risk factors, it is possible to remotely collect high-precision three-dimensional access data through lidar and camera installed on the robot. The collected data can be automatically extracted and converted into a computer-aided design (CAD) model, and a system that can collect data by the robot itself has been developed. The Future Aviation Hall will showcase a virtual integrated operation simulator for urban air transportation (UAM) developed by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute. You can directly check the virtual operation process of UAM, also known as "drone taxi." As a drone taxi is a means of transportation to and from the sky, a sophisticated and safe operating system is essential. Visitors can directly check the development and operation status of safety scenarios through the UAM simulator. A SUPER-BRT (S-BRT) double-door refractive bus, also known as "the subway on the road," is also available at the Industrial Development Center. As a representative successful case of the R&D project for land transportation, it is currently operating in Sejong City. Inquiries for introduction are continuing in other regions. The Mobility Hall will display truck equipment for reinforcing TBM tunnels applied to the construction of the GTX-A route, which has been operating stably since its successful opening in March. Compared to the existing construction method (NATM), which requires gunpowder blasting, it has less noise and vibration, and has secured construction and safety of underground passage sections in urban areas such as reconstruction. Modular negative pressure rooms, which were widely used during the COVID-19 pandemic, will be displayed at the technology competition by supplementing insulation and airtight performance. Due to the nature of the negative pressure ward, it is essential to improve the airtightness performance to prevent the spread of respiratory virus infection. The modular negative pressure ward developed by the Korea Construction Technology Institute and E-Soltec this time is characterized by the free conversion to general rooms as well as energy saving by supplementing the airtightness performance. Modular buildings are also called "disaster response modular systems" as elemental technologies have been further developed so that they can be used for multiple purposes (sound pressure wards, screening clinics, general rooms, and living spaces) in the event of a disaster. The OLED display system for aircraft manufacturing, which was manufactured through the development of Korea's first private passenger aircraft modification certification technology, can be seen at this technology competition. OLED displays, which have low power consumption, wide viewing angle, clear image quality and rich color, have already been distributed to ordinary households, but in-flight use is just beginning. The technology currently being developed is a 48-inch 4K resolution OLED panel, and in this technology competition, you can experience new OLED video services in an exhibition space that is made similar to the actual aircraft cabin. The multi-source X-ray-based intelligent baggage searcher has acquired the European Civil Aviation Commission's (ECAC) portable baggage explosives detection system C3 certification, the highest level of security screening equipment, raising the pride of domestic aviation technology. Thanks to this, Korea became the fourth country after the U.S., the U.K., and China to win ECAC certification. It is a product that is currently targeting overseas markets such as Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East due to low vibration noise and easy maintenance due to its 3D image processing structure that can shoot up to 10 times faster and optimized for artificial intelligence (AI) high-speed automatic reading. The horizontal moving device developed by the Convergence Logistics Business Group enables the suppression of centralization of delivery vehicles in the city and reduction of delivery costs. Existing mobile devices were optimized for the logistics warehouse space, but the horizontal moving device introduced this time was designed in consideration of the special environment of the underground space called subway station. It is expected that it will contribute to speeding up logistics delivery and reducing logistics costs in the future with an integrated control facility that can check real-time location information and a communication system that can be adjusted through a tablet app. |
