E-Soltec Overview

E-soltec (CEO Jongwoon Song) is a company that designs and develops energy-saving self-sustaining modular structures and complete medical modular systems.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company gained attention for creating a 'walk-through diagnostic booth' that enabled contactless sample collection, helping to prevent the spread of the virus. Recently, it has made a significant impact in the industry by developing an 'energy-saving container house' using eco-friendly construction technology, establishing itself as a rising small and medium-sized enterprise.

Founded 10 years ago, I-Sol Tech is based in Sanwol-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju. The company is managed by a small and elite team of 5 employees, including research and quality personnel, who are part of its in-house research division.

E-Soltec flagship product is the energy-saving modular structure. The modular structure is a building that is quickly assembled on-site by joining and connecting components, all or part of which have been certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. These components are constructed according to performance and production standards to create the final structure.

In general, the method of assembling and expanding the framework of a building on-site is referred to as the "modular method."

E-Soltec revenue, which was initially 300-400 million KRW in the early stages of the company, has now exceeded 1 billion KRW. With an annual growth rate of 20-30%, the company is focused on product development and commercialization, aiming to reach 10 billion KRW in revenue within the next three years.

E-Soltec dominates the domestic market and is expanding its footprint into the global market. The company is known for completing its products using 100% in-house developed technologies and domestic raw materials, which has earned it strong trust from both domestic and international clients.

E-Soltec main customer base includes government agencies and domestic and international companies that require energy efficiency and safety. Domestically, the products are supplied through the Public Procurement Service's Nara Market and the Innovation Products site, while internationally, they are delivered to modular ward or medical system companies preparing for pandemics and other disasters, generating foreign exchange revenue. In particular, as the global construction industry increasingly recognizes energy efficiency and other ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management principles as essential, the company has been generating revenue through participation in national research and development projects.

Thanks to these efforts, E-Soltec achieved the remarkable feat of being the only company in Korea to be recognized for innovation in both the medical and construction fields, having acquired innovative product certifications for both sectors—medical systems last year and construction this year. Additionally, the company was honored with the Prime Minister's Award for its contributions to securing national intellectual property rights and commercialization, as well as winning the grand prize at a disaster industry competition. Furthermore, E-Soltec has been selected as one of the representative companies from Gwangju for CES 2025.

The future development potential of modular structures is limitless. In Korea, E-Soltec is the only company offering "multipurpose modular structures" with excellent energy efficiency and airtight performance. As energy efficiency and the reuse of buildings, along with ESG management, become essential, the eco-friendly construction industry market is expected to grow rapidly, with a potential worth of over 200 trillion KRW.

Jongwoon Song, CEO of E-Soltec, stated, "We are creating products based on energy savings, resource recycling, eco-friendliness, and safety that are worthy of being introduced to the global market." He added, "Next year, we will work even harder to ensure that our products and technologies related to construction and healthcare lead to total validation and certification, as well as winning the CES Innovation Award."
