Jong-woon Song, CEO of E-SOLTEC, a company specializing in energy-saving, self-sufficient modular structures and medical modular system development, has been awarded the Presidential Award in recognition of his contributions to national industrial infrastructure.
E-SOLTEC announced on the 30th that, in celebration of Public Procurement Day on the 29th, it received the prestigious Presidential Award for developing innovative products in the government¡¯s key focus areas, including advanced industries and related fostering sectors.
E-SOLTEC successfully developed the world¡¯s first automated screening clinic in 2020.
Subsequently, at the end of 2022, E-SOLTEC¡¯s medical-based automated screening clinic was the first to be registered as an innovative procurement product.
Last July, E-SOLTEC developed a multipurpose modular structure through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport¡¯s R&D program, successfully commercialized it, and added it to the list of innovative products. E-SOLTEC is the only tech venture company in South Korea to hold two innovative product listings.
E-SOLTEC operates a corporate research institute (headed by Director Ga-Young Lim) and continues to actively develop products. The company has secured numerous patents, certifications, and other intellectual property rights both domestically and internationally.
From last year to this year, E-SOLTEC has been recognized domestically and internationally for its excellent products and technologies, including ¡ã Excellent R&D for solving social issues by the Ministry of Science and ICT ¡ã Best Award in the R&D commercialization category by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport ¡ã Innovation Award in the ¡°Human Security¡± category at CES 2025 ¡ã Signing an LOI with a U.S. municipality for a smart city development project.
Currently, E-SOLTEC is simultaneously conducting product demonstrations and deliveries both domestically and internationally, securing government funding through the innovative procurement pilot purchase program, with projects in Osceola County, USA, Gwangju, Gochang County in Jeonbuk, and the Incheon Port Authority.
